As coaches, we can blab on and on, and give out ques like: Stay inside the ball, let the ball get deeper, use your legs more, stay in your legs, and the list can go on and on. And how can the girls learn, when they sometimes have no idea what we are talking about. We can model the technique, but I am in a wheelchair and can't model most of the skills. That is where the swing bands com ein, I can watch the girls hitting with the bands, then talk to me about how the bands are affecting their hitting. I had a big smile on my face when one of my high school hitters took 5 tee swings wearing the arm band, and hit 5 line drives either up the middle or to the right center field gap. She looks at me and exclaims,"Oh my gosh, my hands and barrel felt so much connected to my body, and is that what you meant by staying inside the ball? " I just nodded and smiled. From me less talking was more, and she is now motivated to take responsibility in becoming the best player she can be.

Great training aid for young hitters!

Prior to using this training aid, my son had the tendency to not follow through with his swing with both hands on the bat. Now after a few weeks of practice into the spring season, his hitting has improved tremendously. He's able to follow through and make better contact with the ball resulting in more hits to the outfield. His confidence level is now higher than before as well.

Still "Learning" How/Why to use it, a Video would be GREAT!

As far as build quality, this trainer aid is excellent. It is also comfortable too, even when stretched against your skin. My only reason for taking away one star is the lack of instruction. There are pictures on the product page and a very small hard to read set of pictures that came in the package, but there is no description on where to place the larger band for proper usage, all you have to go off if is the pictures. I got this for my 11 year son, and trying to explain to him the how/why of this product was really difficult. A simple video or two would be really helpful so he knows exactly where to place the bands and more importantly why he is doing it.

I got these to use to work with my son on his batting. There are two different bands that are used for different things. It also comes with a slip of paper with a QR code to tutorials on how to best use them. So far I can tell they’re already very beneficial to the learning process. I’m very excited to see the progress he makes with these.

Nice material

I got these for my 7 yr old son, they may be a bit big, but they still work a little, I'm sure when he is 10 they will fit him much better. Thrse are made well and i feel they will last.

I do not like having to give my email and answer questions to be able to get instructions though. I guess I understand what he is doing and he has a blog with instructional stuff that I think will be helpful. I haven't watched much of the videos or read the blogs yet but he seems knowledgeable and wants to out out stuff to help younger people play better.
